I'm not sure how I managed before having this piece in my kitchen . . . the butter is so soft and you can feel good about keeping it on the counter because the water in the bottom keeps it fresh. You pack the "cup" part (also the lid) with almost a full stick of butter, and put a little cool water in the "crock" part. This piece features Becca's signature stone pool on the lid!
